Good Tire

The tires have much less road noise, and have better handling on pavement than the toyo MTs that I used to be previously running. On the other hand the rubber does seem very soft so I’m not sure how long they’ll last.

Great Tires!

I have a set of Duratracs on my personal vehicle (2008 Grand Cherokee) and they are great in rain, snow, mud, and everything in between! I purchased this set for my work truck – I work at an open pit mine so lots of “off road” conditions like rocks, mud and sand. These Duratracs can’t be beat!

My 1st experience with an off-road tire

I live in New England and wanted a durable, reliable off road tires for my 4Runner. Great tires. I purchased on account of the reviews and have to say that I’m extremely happy with my purchase. Great brand, well reviewed. Very quiet, great road handling despite the fact that I haven’t taken it off road yet, I expect I will be able to be extremely happy with the tire performance as well!

doing away with seasonal tire swapping

I chose to go with the duratracs based on reading various reviews and word of mouth from friends who have them. Living in West Virginia, we experience all four seasons. The duratracs provide a smooth and stable ride on road trips right through the warmer months and, short of having snow spikes or chains, a very sure-footed feel in both heavy rain and show/ice. Off road performance is excellent. Road noise is higher than street tires but not too loud to interfere with normal conversation. I’m very pleased with the tires and will purchase them again. This tire did not wear as well as I expected. It had to be replaced at 40,000 miles. On the other hand it definitely got the job done in winter weather.

Very Good Tires

I bought a set ( 33×12.50×15 ) I have a 1990 GMC SLE Suburban 4wheel drive 6.2 diesel..it weighs 5980 lbs.
I put these tires on in Sept 2011 and they still have good tread left on them. I have put over 60,000 miles on the tires. I have even ran 1 of the steer tires flat for a good 30 miles till I got to a repair shop and did not damage the tire.. I have noticed that as the tire wears down , there is more road noise in the cab.. I have not had any serious balance issues, on long road trips from North Dakota back to South Carolina , they ride fairly well, its a 4×4 not a Cadillac. or Crown Vic.. lol
They are fairly costly , but If I will be able to get 4 years good service out of them, I think that’s a pretty good in investment..
