Michelin is the best…..as usual

I have ltx ms2’s on a suburban and gmc 3500, ribs on my 41 foot 5th wheel camper. It should have been no surprise that the Latitude tours were exceptional, just like the others. They are more expensive but the old saying that “you get what you pay for” applies. These tires replaced a set of Kuhmo’s that were ok when new but lost everything when worn.

I have always found Michelin tires to be competitive, excellent quality tires that last. My last tires I had were over 4 years old and had trouble free 60,000 miles on them with still more than 4/32″ left on the tread. The only reason I changed them is because I am going on a long road trip and thought I would change them now for the trip as well as prepare early for winter weather. The rebate offer was an additional welcome surprise when I ordered the 4 tires.

Michelin tires are the best money can buy. I also have Michelin LTX on my Ford F150 with 136000 miles on them .My Ford Escape just hit 122000 and has plenty of miles left..The $20 extra is well worth it I wont buy nothing but Michelin.

Stone Magnets

I recently replaced my OEM Hankook radials with these Michelin Latitude Tour and gotta say these are the worst tires I ever owned. First, they cannot seem to get them balanced. Been back twice and the car still shakes above 50 mph. Second, the tread picks up massive amts of small stones and glass pieces. Every day or so I have to go out on my hands and knees to remove about 200 stones from the treads. I did this today and within 3 blocks it started clacking again. In about a day, you can barely hear the radio with the windows down and going above 40 mph. Sounds like I’m driving with 4 flat tires. Never had a tire do this before. Big mistake buying these tires. Do yourself a favor and look at another brand/line.
