P Zero tires are Max Performance Summer tires derived from 100 years of Pirelli motorsport experience and developed for the drivers of powerful sports cars, sports coupes and high performance luxury sedans. Initially introduced as Original Equipment on the Aston Martin DB9, Audi R8, Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, Lamborghini Murcielago, Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT and Mercedes-BenzAMG vehicles, the P Zero lineup also includes select replacement tire sizes. The P Zero, like all summer tires, is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

P Zero tires feature a special silicaand carbon black tread compound that proves competent during the first few miles of driving when the tire is still cold, as well as consistent performance throughout the tire’s life. The tread compound is molded into Pirelli’s S-treme asymmetric design in which the location and width of the circumferential and lateralgrooves minimize deformation to blend responsive handling, hydroplaning resistance and wet traction with dry road performance, even wear and acoustic comfort. Special nano-composites in the compound beneath the tread protect the carcass from deterioration and merge sport handling with ride comfort. The tire’s internalstructure includes twin steel belts reinforced by polyamide cord plies and an integration of nylon and aramid cord that controls tire profile deformation and stabilizes the tread area to enhance high-speed capability and handling.

Have a 2013 Camaro RS and these came stockon the car. The car rides like a dream and the tires feel very good on the road. Very little road noise and good handling. At 38,000 miles the front ones still have a little tread on them , but the rear tires are shot. Was hoping to get alittle more mileage out of them. Going to replace them with Hankook Ventus ST rh06. I know the Hankook’s don’t nearly have the reputation of being a performance tire like the Pirelli, but I don’t do very much "performance" driving. Otherthan wearing out a little early, the Pirelli’s were great.

These Pirelli tires are standard for the Audi SQ5 with the wheel size option of 21. These particular tires are good for spirited driving and highway/city.However, the treadwear is quite lowat 18000 miles I had to consider replacing the tires because as they wear down the higher the noise from the tires. They do the job but I replace these tires with Dunlop which is the other brand that makes the specific size for the SQ5 arethe ride comfort is better than the Pirelli. Although Pirelli makes good tires these ones are not their best product in relation to ride comfort/noise level and treadwear.

Love these tires. What I loved best about these tires were their wet road predictability. Its amazing how far you canpush the limits of these tires. These tires will be replaced after this summer and that’s where my dilemma comes in. With a number of tires that have been rated better than these do I replace with the same tires, the devil you know, or go with the Pilot SS, the Potenza RE-11 or the couple of others that have been rated above the Pirellis, the devil you don’t. Because I never ever had an issue with this tire I feel that I will stay with them or go with the P Zero (PZ4) if available for my vehicle since the reviews are using, in my opinion, different vehicles from my car and are comparing tires on an apples and oranges analogy. Is itthe vehicle or the tires or more than liking the pairing of both. I just don’t see how they could anymore grip out of a performance summer tire in the rain.
