Originally purchased these tires when going to +2 size from stock. A lot of my issues have to do with the fact that the wheel and tire package is not suited to my suspension settings. If I had a firmer suspension, many of the jarring ride and bounciness would be contained and not travel into the cabin.

Tread-wear: Though there is a 75,000 km warranty on these tires, I currently have 31,000 km and I’m down to 4/32 on all corners. I don’t think it will make it to the endof the year. The tires have worn evenly and I rotate every 10,000.

Handling: These tires deliver handling precision by the boat load. The car is very stable at high speed cornering and directional changes.
We get a lot of rain here in Vancouver and I never felt the car hydroplaning or losing grip in the rain. I always have complete confidence.
Snow and Ice handling is very bad. Last year when we had some snowfall I completely slid into a shallow embankment onslightly icy roads.
I take some blame for that as I had more confidence in the tire than I should have.

Comfort: These tires bang over every irregularity, pot-hole or anything but the most perfect roads. On concrete bridges, the ride is so bad that it makes me never want to take the bridge again or just walk out of the car. It makes me hate driving my car.
Vibrations that come through the pedals and steering wheel are very high and my hands shake sometimes after a drive. These could be good at a track day event where high levels of feedback are welcome but on my daily drive, I could certainly live without it.

Purchased these in a "plus 0" size for my Kia Optima (235/50r17 vs. 215/55r17). The tires fit well and looked good, being slightly wider and lower profile but with a nearly identical overall diameter. Handling in the dry has been very good, in the wet also and hydroplaning resistance as well – in the rare rain events we have had here in Southern California the last few years. Have had no snow experience with them, as youmay expect. The tires have been comfortable and fairly quiet given their grip, even in the wider and lower profile I purchased. My only gripe has been the wear: I admittedly did not rotate them at first as often as I should have, but I didlater on and I always maintained the recommended tire pressure of 33 psi. Now after about 22k miles, I am at 4/16" and have to replace them soon, well under the 45k manufacturer expectancy. Maybe I could have gotten them to over 30k, but not much most likely. Given their cost, I will likely try a longer wearing tire next time.

I just purchased my second set of the A/S 3 Pilot for my commuter car. The first set went a little more than 39,000 miles and performed flawlessly. I drive this big Hemi powered car hard no matter the weather or road conditions and the A/S 3 tires workgreat, even in driving rain with standing puddles.
